Books I’ve Enjoyed Under 300 Pages
For those looking to squeeze in a few more books to meet their annual reading goal or start the new year off with a bang!
If you’re a bookstagrammer or follow anyone on bookstgram, there’s a good chance you’ve seen people post about their reading goals throughout the year. Now that 2024 is quickly coming to a close, you’ve likely seen a ton of ‘2024 Wrapped’ posts with entertainment stats such as reading and streaming music, along with miscellaneous life stats.
When it comes to wrap-up posts, I’m a fan of waiting until the timeframe is over to share whether it be weekly, monthly, or annually - it’s not over till it’s over and what if you read an amazing book at the very end of the month or the year that you want to include?! Alas, I’m also of the perspective that these lists are fun and I understand that some people want to jump on trends right away because it’s exciting to share.
If you’re stressing about not meeting your annual reading goal but you’re almost there, here are some suggestions on what to pick up over the next few days. Already met your goal and are focusing on your 2025 TBR? Start the new year off with a bang! Or maybe you’re looking for something short to read in between your planned TBR list as a palate cleanser or reset?
If you’re trying to read more books, try compiling a collection of books under 300 pages (or you could even go down to 200, 150, or 100). Romance novellas are a great route - it’s especially easy if you’re an Everand or Kindle Unlimited subscriber or have access to Libby - but did you know there’s a ton of nonfiction books that are short and sweet and just might teach you something interesting? In case you don’t see where I’m going with this, try adding in some nonfiction! I recommend mixing it up so it doesn’t feel like you’re reading the same fun {holiday} romance over and over.
